Upper Hudson River Watershed Revitalization Plan

The Lake Champlain – Lake George Regional Planning Board and the Upper Hudson River Watershed Coalition, with special thanks to the Town of Horicon, are pleased to announce the release of the Upper Hudson River Watershed Management Plan. This plan was prepared with funding awarded to the Town of Horicon by the New York State Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund and is an example of the collaborative work required for effective management and planning at the watershed level. The plan identifies articulated goals for the watershed and identifies 190 projects, totaling more than $300,000,000 in water quality improvements to aide in achieving those goals.
