Champlain Watershed Improvement Coalition of New York (CWICNY)

The Champlain Watershed Improvement Coalition of NY (CWICNY) is a non-profit organization consisting of voting members from the Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Warren and Washington County Soil and Water Conservations Districts, a representative from each County Water Quality Coordinating Committee and a representative from the Lake Champlain - Lake George Regional Planning Board. CWICNY's mission is to provide a coordinated effort to improve water quality and other natural resources within the New York Lake Champlain counties through project implementation. This is done utilizing state and federal funding opportunities provided by CWICNY's partner organizations, including the Lake Champlain Basin Program, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, NYS Soil and Water Conservation Committee and US Natural Resource Conservation Service.
